Be it resolved, by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, that the Commissioner of Parks & Public Property, be, and is hereby authorized to buy, for the sum of ; 8,400.00; $4,000.00 payable on the execution of deeds , acceptable to the City Attorney, and the further sum of $4,400.00 to be paid within a year, with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from date of execution of deeds; the following described property, in Salt Lake City. Hubbard Investment Co. , 3 acres ; Utah Savings & Trust Co. , one acre; A. L. Thomas 2.8 acres and Peter Pompel .3 acres; all in block-:#28, Oakley Subdivision, Salt Lake City. Also 13.9 acres belonging to A. W. Davis, which land lies west of the Jordan River, as shown on the attached plat. Said land to be dedicated for park purposes and to be known as the "Riverside Park. " Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, June 29, 1912.
