RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY
OF ORSON F. HOTTINGER
WHEREAS, Orson F. Hottinger, a highly respected and honorable
employee of the City of Salt Lake for the past 25 years, passed away
on the 15th day of January, 1962; and
WHEREAS, he served the people of this City faithfully and
with dedication and distinction as a citizen and in the capacity of
a public servant and was respected by all that knew him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City that they do hereby pay tribute to him for his
integrity and devotion to the City of Salt Lake and for his accomplish-
ments in office, for the endless patience with which he worked for the
best interests of the City and its employees, for the love and friend-
ship which he had for neighbors, fellow officers and employees of
Salt Lake City and his outstanding contributions which he made to the
progress of the City of Salt Lake.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
delivered to the family of Orson F. Hottinger with an expression of
our sympathy and sincere appreciation for the contributions he made
to the welfare and advancement of Salt Lake City.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 17th day of January., 1962.
