Subdivision at about 2300 South Scenic Drive
from Residential "R-7" to "R-1"
pursuant to Petition No. 400-644-88)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21. 14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE
DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by
Willie Stoler, No. 400-644-88, the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah, has held public hearings before its own body and
before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration
citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and
the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these
deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change
of zoning for the property located West of Benchmark Subdivision
at about 2300 South Scenic Drive from Residential "R-7" to "R-1"
is appropriate for the development of the community in that area;
THEREFORE, The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of
Title 21.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That the Use District Map, as adopted by
Section 21. 14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the
fixing of boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is
AMENDED to read as follows:
Sec. 21.14.020. Boundaries of Districts - Use District Map
Adopted. That the following-described parcel of real property in
Salt Lake City, Utah, presently zoned Residential "R-7" is hereby
rezoned Residential "R-1" and the Use District Map is amended
accordingly:
Beginning 1961.01 feet south and 1687. 67 feet east
from the northwest corner of Section 23, Township 1
South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Meridian; South It
4°43100" East 128.34 feet; southeasterly along the tiz-
length of curve 206 feet; west 195 feet; north
10056151" west 417 feet; east 20 feet; south W �$
47043 '00" east 51.47 feet; east 140. 56 feet; 4s-
southeasterly 49.67 feet along the length of curve
to the point of beginning. Contains 1.29 acres more
or less.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE AND CONDITIONS. This ordinance
shall become effective on its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
day of 1988.
