RESOLUTION NO. 123 OF 1987 APPROVED
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SEP lgric
AND UTAH TRANSIT AUTHORITY CITY RECORDER
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to provide joint undertakings
and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to accomplish said
purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally described as
follows:
An agreement between the Utah Transit Authority and Salt Lake City
setting forth the method by which the location of public transit signs,
posts, benches and shelters shall be designated and how these facilities
will be utilized, maintained and repaired or replaced.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is hereby authorized
to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City Corporation and to act in
accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 6th day
of Octoben , 1987.
