RESOLUTION NO. 126 OF 1987
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND
Midvale City Fire Department
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A., 1953, as amended, allows public
entities to enter into cooperative agreements to provide joint undertakings
and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to accomplish said
purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally described as
follows:
An amendment to the previously executed Interlocal Cooperation Agreement
for providing fire and rescue dispatch services between Salt Lake City
and Midvale City.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is hereby
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt Lake City
Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
