RESOLUTION NO. 33 OF '1989
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
AND
UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY
WHEREAS, Title 11, Chapter 13, U.C.A., 1953, as amended,
allows public entities to enter into cooperative agreements to
provide joint undertakings and services; and
WHEREAS, the attached agreement has been prepared to
accomplish said purposes;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah, as follows:
1. It does hereby approve the attached agreement generally
described as follows:
An amendment of the City and University Agreement of
March 10, 1987 to amend and enlarge the scope of work
to include a comprehensive monitoring of water
quality in the Jordan River at several points, and
payment therefor.
2. Palmer A. DePaulis, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, is
hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of Salt
Lake City Corporation and to act in accordance with its terms.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
7th day of March , 1989.
