10/25/2016 - Work Session - Announcements City Council Announcements October 25, 2016 Information Needed by Council Staff 6:39:12 PM A. Correction to the Renewable Energy and Carbon Emissions Reduction joint Resolution from July 2016: The Administration brought to the attention of Council staff The Renewable Energy and Carbon Emissions Reduction joint resolution adopted in July 2016 inadvertently included three words that should have been stricken from the final version (see below). The Administration requests an updated version of the resolution be recorded in the public record. Staff recommends adopting an updated version under Unfinished Business. The Sustainability Department and the Attorney's Office were asked whether removal of the words would overstep the City's authority. Both agree it's an aspirational statement. Do Council Members approve adding this to Unfinished Business on the November 1 formal meeting to create a public record of the actual final version of the resolution?
