TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21 , 2017
The City Council met as the Board of Canvassers on Tuesday, November 21,
2017 at 2 : 16 p.m. in Room 326, Committee Room, City County Building, 451
South State .
The following Board Members were present:
Charlie Luke Andrew Johnston Stan Penfold
James Rogers Derek Kitchen
The following Board Members were absent:
Erin Mendenhall Lisa Adams Jacqueline Biskupski
Staff in Attendance : Jennifer Bruno, Council Executive Deputy
Director; Patrick Leary, Mayor' s Chief of Staff; David Litvack, Mayor' s
Deputy Chief of Staff; Margaret Plane, City Attorney; Ben Luedtke,
Council Public Policy Analyst; Nicole Smedley, Assistant City Recorder;
Cindi Mansell, City Recorder; and Kory Solorio, Assistant City Recorder.
Board member Penfold presided at and conducted the meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 2 : 16 p.m.
AGENDA ITEMS
#1 . 2:16:42 PM The Council will meet as the Board of Canvass to
certify the Canvass and declare the 2017 Municipal General Election
results . The Board of Canvassers, which includes the Mayor and City
Council, will canvass and declare the results of the Municipal General
Election held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 for Council Districts 1, 3,
5, and 7. View Attachments
Board member Luke moved and Board member Johnston seconded to adopt
Resolution 31 of 2017, accepting and approving the results of the
Municipal General Election for City Council Districts 1 , 3, 5, and 7
held in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 7 , 2017 , which motion carried,
all members presented voted aye .
The meeting adjourned at 2 : 18 p.m.
