2/23/2022 15:25 Mary McConaughy This area needs to be added somehow to Fairmont park. There is too many
apartments in Sugarhouse and development. The gas station by Sugarhouse park is
already propsed. We need to have this be more green space in some manner.
2/24/2022 1:57 Kristi Allen keep the BLM mural of the men.
2/24/2022 8:41 John W John W.,Westminster Make it an open space.Sugarhouse has enough crowding.
2/24/2022 9:00 Deborah Hansen Dear Salt lake city council members and Mayor. My name is Roy Adams. This request
is about Salt lake city Cemetery's Roads are in very bad conditions.I would like to
have you go drive up there and check on the road around the cemetery and see how
bad it is.Some of them you couldn't even drive through it.and it is sad because it is
not only me that complained about this but everyone who has a family up there has
complained as well.I do believe that there is some government money that uses
some of it to take care of this.please contact me back 8012628370 Roy Adams.
2/24/2022 12:29 Heidi S first rezone, then"develop."City also owns the tennis courts near the Boys and Girls
club.At one point they wondered if they should put in affordable housing or a child
care facility. All would be welcome at either facility.
2/25/2022 9:39 Fleet Block Sage Sagers Don't rezone Fleet Block. The murals there are important to the community as it
creates a space to remember and honor lives lost by police brutality. If for some
reason it must be rezoned,I suggest that the murals be saved and displayed after
rezoning or relocated entirely.
2/25/2022 12:34 Betty S The tennis court should be turned into a parking lot for the Trax line andreduce that
type of parking at Fairmont Pool.
2/28/2022 9:47 Deborah Hansen Hello,As of right now 9:17 pm,Sunday 27,2022 I'm living in the Rose Park area and
we've noticed a loud booming noise like big Fireworks that have been going on for
the past week and it's continuing to happen all day time to time.It is very loud
causing our dogs to bark.It looks like it coming from the finery area.It is very
annoying, loud and there's nothing in the sky but the booming noise.I would like to
have you the city find out what was that noise and deal with it.And see what you can
do to make it stop.
2/28/2022 11:43 Jane B No condos!
2/28/2022 15:45 Ivory Homes Rezone Request Scott Young Mr.Echeverria,I hope you are enjoying the longer weekend. In my prior letters,I
explained why Ivory's ever-changing rezoning proposals should be denied. With
respect to Ivory's most recent proposal,I would like to speak at the upcoming
Planning Commission public hearing as to why Ivory's plans simply do not meet the
requirements of a planned development.I have attached my Outline on this topic
and would appreciate you sharing it with the Planning Commission.Thank you for
your time.Stay safe.
3/1/2022 7:14 Brian SMITH Brian Smith called this afternoon to voice his concern and feedback regarding public
transportation in District 4.This is in response to a"march"the Sweet Streets group
is doing to deliver a petition to the Mayor at the City and County Bldg today. Here
are a few bullet points from our conversation:-Brian asks if Council Members are
aware of the push for better bus lanes on 200 South and bike lanes. He says these
dedicated bus lanes are needed on 200 South and especially downtown.-Brian
thinks it's important to prioritize movement of people and not cars.-Brian voices his
concern with Zoning, that zoning drives parking and downtown zoning should be
changed to encourage less dedicated parking and flip the switch to drive people to
use public transportation.-He says with the housing crisis,we should let new
building developers create their own parking rules, that zoning and parking rules
should be waived for the Downtown area since it's such a special exception.-He
would like to see more transportation routes leading from Downtown to the major
ski attractions. This will attract more tourists while keeping the air cleaner and giving
access to the greener outdoors.-Free Fare February—is fantastic and so timely as
the inversion is here.
