RE: Canvassing the 2021 Municipal General Election
MOTION 1 – APPROVE
I move that the Board of Canvassers adopt the proposed resolution accepting, approving, and certifying the
results of the municipal general election held in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 2, 2021.
Staff Note: Per state law, the Board of Canvassers for municipal elections includes the City Council
and Mayor. Therefore, a quorum and a simple majority consists of five board members. Certified vote
totals are shown on the election results report.
MOTION 2 – NOT APPROVE
I move that the Board not adopt the proposed resolution and proceed to the next agenda item.
