TUESDAY, JANUARY 12, 2016
The Board of Directors of the Local Building Authority of Salt Lake
City, Utah, met on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 7 : 03 p.m. in Room 315,
Council Chambers, City County Building, 451 South State .
The following Board Directors were present :
Andrew Johnston Stan Penfold James Rogers
Charlie Luke Erin Mendenhall Derek Kitchen
Lisa Adams
Cindy Gust-Jenson, Council Executive Director; Jackie Biskupski,
Mayor; Patrick Leary, Mayor' s Chief of Staff; Margaret Plane, City
Attorney; and Kory Solorio, Assistant City Recorder; were present .
Director Rogers presided at and conducted the meeting.
AGENDA ITEMS
7:03:38 PM Councilmember Penfold moved and Councilmember Luke
seconded to recess as the City Council and convene as the Board of
Directors of the Local Building Authority, which motion carried, all
members voted aye .
OPENING CEREMONIES
#1 . 7:04:13 PM Director Penfold moved and Director Mendenhall
seconded to approve the minutes of the following Local Building
Authority meetings, which motion carried, all directors voted aye .

PUBLIC HEARINGS
#2 . 7:04:24 PM Public hearing to receive input respect to the
issuance of the Authority' s Lease Revenue Bonds to finance a new Fire
Station #14 and the potential economic impact that such fire station
will have on the private sector. View Attachments
Director Mendenhall moved and Director Luke seconded to close the
public hearing.
An amended motion was made by Director Mendenhall and seconded by
Director Penfold to close the public hearing and defer action to March
1, 2016, which motion carried, all directors voted aye .

ACTION ITEMS
#3. 7:05:45 PM Approving a resolution amending resolution No. 3 of
2015 of the Local Building Authority which adopted the Final Budget
for the Capital Projects Fund of the Local Building Authority for the
remainder of the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2015 and Ending June
30, 2016 . View Attachments
Director Penfold moved and Director Luke seconded to adopt
Resolution 1 of 2016 amending the final budget for the Capital
Projects Fund of the Local Building Authority for Fiscal year 2015-16,
which motion carried, all directors voted aye .

Director Penfold moved and Director Mendenhall seconded to
adjourn as the Local Building Authority and reconvene as the City
Council, which motion carried, all directors voted aye .
The meeting adjourned at 7 : 06 p.m.
