BUILDING RE: Resolution Authorizing Use of
County Housing Bonds within
the City Limits
Dear Kathie:
The Salt Lake City Housing Authority has requested approval by
the City Council of a resolution allowing the Housing Authority of the
County of Salt Lake to bond developers on the Loan to Lender Program in
Salt Lake City.
I have spoken with John Hiskey, a Commissioner for the Salt
Lake Housing Authority, and he has indicated the Housing Authority
would like action on the resolution this Tuesday, January 25 at 6:45
p.m. prior to the District #3 meeting. Therefore, I am requesting
notice be published so that the Council can act if they desire on the
resolution for the Housing Authority.
The item should be listed as New Council Business:
Consider and approve the resolution approved by the Salt Lake
City Housing Authority Board on January 12, 1983, allowing the
Housing Authority of the County of Salt Lake to bond for
developers on the Loan to Lender Program in Salt Lake City.
Mr. Hiskey informed me that he checked with Wally Miller on
what, if any, special notification had to be done. As per Mr. Miller,
regular notice from your office would suffice. However, please note
the meeting will be at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25 at the Ensign
Elementary School, 775 12th Avenue.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Sinc ely,
Lei von der Esch
