TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 2017
The Board of Directors of the Local Building Authority of Salt Lake City,
Utah, met on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 7 : 03 p.m. in Room 315, Council
Chambers, City County Building, 451 South State .
The following Board Directors were present:
Charlie Luke Erin Mendenhall Andrew Johnston
Stan Penfold Derek Kitchen James Rogers
Lisa Adams
Cindy Gust-Jenson, Council Executive Director; Jennifer Bruno,
Council Executive Deputy Director; Patrick Leary, Mayor' s Chief of Staff;
David Litvack, Mayor' s Deputy Chief of Staff; Margaret Plane, City
Attorney; and Kory Solorio, Assistant City Recorder; were present.
Director Penfold presided at and Director Mendenhall conducted the
meeting.
OPENING CEREMONY

#2 . 7:03:54 PM Welcome/Review of Standards of Conduct.
#3 . 7:06:30 PM Director Luke moved and Director Rogers seconded to
approve the minutes of the following Local Building Authority meeting,
held Tuesday, May 2 , 2017, and Tuesday, May 16, 2017 , which motion
carried, all directors voted aye . View Minutes

PUBLIC HEARINGS
#1 . 7:07:02 PM Accept public comment and consider a resolution
adopting the final budget for the Capital Projects Fund of the Local
Building Authority of Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Fiscal Year Beginning
July 1 , 2017 and Ending June 30 , 2018 . View Attachments
James Berensen suggested funding should be used to refurbish old
buildings rather than new development.
Director Penfold moved and Director Luke seconded to close the
public hearing, which motion carried, all directors voted aye .
