TUESDAY, MARCH 20 , 2012
The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met in Regular Session on
Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 5 : 45 p.m. in Room 326, Committee Room, City
County Building, 451 South State.
The following Council Members were present:
Carlton Christensen Stan Penfold Kyle LaMalfa
Jill Remington Love Charlie Luke Luke Garrott
Soren Simonsen
Cindy Gust-Jenson, Executive Council Director; Mayor Ralph Becker;
Edwin Rutan, City Attorney; and Scott Crandall, Deputy City Recorder;
were present.
Councilmember Simonsen presided at and conducted the meeting.
CONSENT AGENDA 9:34:20 PM
Councilmember Penfold moved and Councilmember Luke seconded to
adopt the Consent Agenda, which motion carried, all members voted aye.
#1 . Approving the appointment of Michael Colby to the Arts Council
for a term extending through July 1, 2014 .

#2 . Approving the appointment of Cannon Tarbet to the Arts Council
for a term extending through July 1, 2014 .

#3. Approving the appointment of Nan Ellin and Beth Levine to the
Cultural Core Budget Committee for a term to be determined at the
initial committee meeting.

#4 . Approving corrected term date for the appointment of Maureen
Wilson to the Mosquito Abatement District Board of Trustees for a term
extending through December 31, 2015 .

#5. Approving corrected term date for the reappointment of Todd
Erskine to the Mosquito Abatement District Board of Trustees for a term
extending through December 31, 2015 .
