CONSENT AGENDA 1. Consider and discuss Petition 21 of 1982 submitted by the L.D.S. Church on March 9, 1982. The petitioner is requesting the vacating of 7th South from a point running approximately 165 feet east of 8th West, east to the Freeway and a 17 foot alley running east and west in the rear of the properties facing on 7th south Street. 2. Consider and adopt an amended assessment ordinance in connection with the assessment of property in Salt Lake City Curb and gutter Extension District 38-533. 3. Consider and accept the Fairclough petition, Petition 301 of 1981, requesting rezoning of property at the northeast corner of 900 West and 1700 South from B-3 and R-2 to C-2. E. UNFINISHED COUNCIL BUSINESS 1. Consider and adopt resolution identifying contributions to Salt Palace Expansion project including land redevelopment appropriations and $110,000 to be applied to fees related to expansion project. F. PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. 6:00 p.m. Protest hearing regarding Special Improvement District 38-700. 2. 6:00 p.m. Proposed ordinance relating to parking strips and parking strip standards. 3. 6:30 p.m. Discuss designating buildings as historic landmark sites: Edwin P. Kimball House, Rose Hartwell Whiteley House, George Arbuckle House, Thorid Peck House. 4. 6:45 p.m. Discuss Petition 598 of 1981 submitted by Robert Trujillo requesting that the city vacate a portion of Ashton Avenue adjoining his property at 2332 south 1800 East. 5. 7:00 p.m. Discuss proposed barricade ordinance and amendment to the noise ordinance. 6. 7:30 p.m. Discuss proposed compatibility review overlay ordinance and establishment of district in West Downtown Gateway Area. 7. 8:00 p.m. Discuss Petition 648 of 1981 by Mitch Godfrey requesting that property on the southeast corner of 700 North and Redwood Road be rezoned from R-2a to B-3. 8. 8:30 p.m. Discuss closing 238.75 feet of Oblad Street between 300 East and 400 East and exchange it for two properties owned by Fourth East associates.
