TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2018
The Board of Directors of the Local Building Authority of Salt Lake City,
Utah, met on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 7 : 14 p.m. in Room 315, Council
Chambers, City County Building, 451 South State.
The following Board Directors were present:
Chris Wharton Andrew Johnston James Rogers
Amy Fowler Derek Kitchen
The following Board Directors were absent:
Erin Mendenhall Charlie Luke
Cindy Gust-Jenson, Council Executive Director; Jacqueline
Biskupski, Mayor; Patrick Leary, Mayor' s Chief of Staff; Margaret Plane,
City Attorney; DeeDee Robinson, Deputy City Recorder; and Kory Solorio,
Assistant City Recorder; were present.
Director Wharton presided at and Director Fowler conducted the
meeting.
OPENING CEREMONY
#1 . 7:17:41 PM The Local Building Authority Board led the Pledge of
Allegiance.
#2 . 7:14:50 PM Welcome/Review of Standards of Conduct.
#3 . 7:18:15 PM A moment of silence and remembrance was held for
Douglas Cotant who recently passed away and was a regular voice at
Council meetings . Director Wharton read a letter sent to Mr. Cotant' s
family from the Council . View Letter
#4 . 7:21:25 PM Director Kitchen moved and Director Johnston seconded
to approve the minutes of the Local Building Authority meetings held
Tuesday, June 6, 2017 ; Tuesday, June 13, 2017; and Tuesday, May 1, 2018 ,
which motion carried, all directors present voted aye . View Minutes

PUBLIC HEARINGS
#1 . 7:21:54 PM Accept public comment and consider approving a
resolution adopting the final budget for the Capital Projects Fund of
the Local Building Authority of Salt Lake City, Utah for Fiscal Year

Director Kitchen moved and Director Johnston seconded to continue
the public hearing to the June 5, 2018 meeting, which motion carried,
all directors present voted aye.
