TUESDAY, MAY 23, 2017
The Board of Directors of the Local Building Authority of Salt Lake City,
Utah, met on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 7 : 02 p.m. in Room 315, Council
Chambers, City County Building, 451 South State.
The following Board Directors were present:
Charlie Luke Andrew Johnston James Rogers
Derek Kitchen Lisa Adams Erin Mendenhall
The following Board Director was absent:
Stan Penfold
Cindy Gust-Jenson, Council Executive Director; Jacqueline M.
Biskupski, Mayor; Patrick Leary, Mayor' s Chief of Staff; Margaret Plane,
City Attorney; and Kory Solorio, Assistant City Recorder; were present.
Director Luke presided at and Director Kitchen conducted the
meeting.
OPENING CEREMONY
#1. 7:02:26 PM Pledge of Allegiance .
#2 . 7:02:43 PM Welcome/Review of Standards of Conduct.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
#1. 7:05:23 PM Accept public comment and consider a resolution
adopting the final budget for the Capital Projects Fund of the Local
Building Authority of Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Fiscal Year Beginning
July 1, 2017 and Ending June 30, 2018 . View Attachments
Director Mendenhall moved and Director Luke seconded to close the
public hearing, which motion carried, all directors present voted aye .

The Local Building Authority meeting adjourned at 7 : 06 p.m.
Note: After conducting business as the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) ,
Director Johnston suggested revisiting the motion made by the Local
Building Authority Board to close the public hearing. He said he thought
the hearing should have been continued, not closed.
7 :16:31 PM Director Luke moved and Director Rogers seconded to adjourn
as the Redevelopment Agency and reconvene as the Local Building
Authority, which motion carried, all directors present voted aye .

7 :17:01 PM Director Luke moved and Director Rogers second to
reconsider the Local Building Authority' s action to close the public
hearing, which motion carried, all directors present voted aye.
7 :17 :16 PM Director Luke moved and Director Rogers seconded to
continue the public hearing to a future date, which motion carried, all
directors present voted aye.
The meeting adjourned at 7 : 17 p .m.
