HUMAN RESOURCE AUDIT Alan Hardman: Call to Order - Karen and Joe called to table - staff review - did you have chance to review? Joe Reno: No Questions. Alan Hardman: Are you paying - what is 15, 000? Joe Reno: New state law - HIV test - 1, 300 civil service, 7, 000 negotiator. Alan Hardman: Is negotiator increase 7, 000 yearly? Karen Hashimoto: Hired in 1986 - mere contract review. Don: Commission Analyzer. Joe: 1,500 diesel fuel tax - emmission. Other man - regulation charge 7-91 - need new analyzer for. Alan Hardman: Motor fuel - other guy - last year 50% increase - need to pay for. Alan Hardman: Police car fuel. Gary: No diesel. Alan Hardman: Has gas been increased for new police cars? Gary: Not much increase this year because mileage getting better - new cars. Alan Hardman: Restrictions on fuel? Gary: No, we do monitor m.p.g. Alan Hardman: Any mechanics? increase last year. Gary: Likely. Don: Rick Management - is this insurance - Joe 50, 000? Don Hale: Yes, Joe is insurance. Cindy Gust-Jenson: City does not purchase policy? Joe Reno: Yes, first put ande in publ . Karen: Looked at unfair to look at full scenario - part of time looked at full office - office consolidated - have asked for additional response. Factors are a key role. History of other positions in area. Nancy Pace: Isn't it technical? Karen: Yes, but other cities organize/structure - retreat priority decision look at safety coordinator and - less control spec - workers comp and safety issues. Third: budget opp to be consistent with org - movement to change of less control to handle more risk management without actual manager.
