A. Item Pulled from Formal Agenda (Item Bi3, Grant Application)
The Administration has requested that Formal Meeting Item B-13 Grant
Application: SB 277 Bond Proceeds Transportation Funding for i3oo
East Rehabilitation (13oo South to 2100 South) be pulled from the public
hearings during tonight's formal agenda.
The Administration indicates that Salt Lake City applied for this project using these
funds, however, during the course of discussions with Salt Lake County, a different
project was agreed to and supported by City and County staff and ratified by a vote of
the Salt Lake County Council. The Department of Community and Neighborhoods
will submit updated information to Council staff at a later time.
Cindy Gust-Jenson,Executive Council Director, reiterated Item Bi3, Grant
Application, had been pulled from the agenda by the Administration. She said
another written submittal for the replacement project would be forwarded to the
Council; however she would follow-up with Mr.Leary and Mr.Litvack.
Information Needed by Staff
A. Draft RFI for Golf Course Management
Staff sent the Administration's draft RFI for Golf Course Management. This RFI
responds to an FY18 Legislative Intent to "formally seek proposals from private
providers, other governmental entities, community organizations and others..."
Council Members are asked to provide comments and questions to staff by
November 27th on the draft. (Allison Rowland sent an email with the draft text.)
Ms. Gust-Jenson stated the Council was sent the RFI draft provided by the
Administration.She indicated the Administration would like to get any feedback
as soon as possible and asked the Council to submit any questions/comments to
Allison Rowland.
