MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 , 2007
The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met as the Board of
Canvassers on Monday, September 17, 2007, at 6 : 00 p.m. in Room 326,
Committee Room, City County Building, 451 South State .
The following Council Members were present:
Carlton Christensen Van Turner Dave Buhler
Soren Simonsen Eric Jergensen
The following Council Members were absent:
Jill Remington Love Nancy Saxton
Cindy Gust-Jenson, Executive Council Director; Brian Roberts,
Senior City Attorney; Christine Meeker, Acting City Recorder; Sonya
Kintaro, Election Coordinator and Scott Crandall, Deputy City Recorder;
were present.
Councilmember Turner presided at and conducted the meeting.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
#1. RE: 6:30:51 PM Revising the official canvass of the September
11, 2007 Salt Lake City Primary Election .
Councilmember Simonsen moved and Councilmember Christensen
seconded to accept three absentee ballots and reject 16 .
Councilmember Simonsen said 16 ballots were rejected because they
did not meet statutory requirements . (20A-3-306-2 (b)
Councilmember Turner called for the question, which motion
carried, all members present voted aye .

The meeting adjourned at 6 : 32 p.m.
