I'd like to introduce new member, Katie Bennett. KBennett—Thank you for having me. I am an architect at KGTY, designing houses since about 2013 and I'm just very interested in housing affordability in our community. ABest-And Matt, who isn't here is the one who told Katie about this board so,word of mouth works! KBennett— I should mention that Matt and I both went to the University of Kansas and somehow found each other out here in Utah while reviewing a studio at the University of Utah. I know that right now we've been primarily meeting electronically and potentially talk about if there is a desire to move to meeting in person? EMakowski- It was my thought that if,in the future we have a meeting that is really just like this one, just to approve minutes (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't see the need for everyone to come downtown unless there is an actual group coming to make a presentation. PCherecwich-I concur with Ed on that point. JOrganista—I do as well EMakowski- I presume future meetings would be held at the or regular location as long as there are presenters coming on board. If it turns out we have another meeting just to approve the minutes from previous meetings, I think a zoom meeting would suffice just for that. I don't know whether we need to vote on that Scott-how many individuals do we require for a quorum? If we require a quorum for some meetings, depending on how attendance has been, would we have enough quorum? And if that's an issue,we could have kind of a hybrid option where people could join virtually, but if it's a subsequent meeting, still have the option to embed a person? ABest-A forum is 6 people. We technically do need a quorum in order to have a meeting, moving forward. So specifically with electronic meetings,we've gotten word from code that we have to have a quorum to even hold a meeting. Otherwise, it would have to be canceled if there is no quorum. When it comes to in person, the code might be similar, but we haven't gotten specific word on that but, in person we can always have a call in option. So if it is an in person, anchor location meeting, you can still call in rather than coming in person,if you need to. Scott- Seems like,it'd be I approve that approach. I think it makes sense. TMilner-Whatever format the board chooses,it just has to be publicly noticed ahead of time with options for the public to either attend in person or remote. Okay, so it's just more of that heads up of,like,we, you can't change it at the last minute. ABest-We are working on home rescue plan act funding that's coming through Salt Lake City so,that might come to this board in some capacity once we figure out what we're going to be doing with that. But,it is going to be a public hearing for the draft Alan plan.We don't have a set date for that but it will be sometime in mid-April and I'll send out an email for all of you to potentially attend or listen in so that once those dollars do come to this board, you know what public comment potentially said about the dollars.
