Insurance and Funding
FM GLOBAL HAS DISBURSED 2M TO CONTINUE TO COMPLETE THE CONSTRUCTION
DOCUMENTATION PROCESS.
INSURANCE COMPANY HAS AGREED TO REIMBURSE THE CITY FOR ALL EXPENSES
INCURRED UP TO DATE TO COMPLETE THE INVESTIGATION AND DOCUMENTATION
PROCESS.
THE CITY IS LOOKING TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE FULL VALUE OF DAMAGES AT
THE TIME OF THE EARTHQUAKE.
IF THE FINAL CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATE EXCEEDS THE CONSTRUCTION BUDGET,
WE MIGHT HAVE TO SPLIT THE PROJECT INTO TWO BIDDING PHASES.

Testing of Building Bearings
Isolators were shipped to the University
of California on August 18th, 2022
Received on August 29t", 2022
Testing was conducted at the end of
October. The city is waiting for the test
results and instructions to ship the
isolators back to Salt Lake City

Construction Mock-ups
The interior Construction mock-ups are finalized.
The architect selected the Council Chambers
and the 5t" Floor Lobby to conduct those.
Testing has been done, and we have issued final
process approval.
Contractor will put together a report with
instructions on material and methods to achieve nr
the desired results.
Architect is waiting for this information to be
included in the Construction Documents for
Bidding.
