I, Darin Piccoli, Chair of the Business Advisory Board (BAB), hereby determine that conducting the Business Advisory Board meeting
at an anchor location presents a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be present.

2. Briefings by the Staff
A. Report from the Director 10 minutes
Ms. Reichgelt will introduce new BAB member,Andy Robertson. She will also brief BAB on the Construction
Mitigation Program, Emergency Loan Program, staff updates and COVID 19 case surge.
3. Approval of the minutes
A. Review and Approval of December 8th, 2021 BAB Minutes
BAB members will review the December 81", 2021 meeting minutes and consider for approval.
4. Business
A. Sugar House Business District Design Standards Zoning Text Amendment 15 minutes
Ms. Thompson will present a recent text amendment regarding the FBSE 2nd Story Rooftop Commercial Uses that
was approved by Council in Sugarhouse.
B. HEART(Homeless Engagement and Response Team) 15 minutes
Ms. Hoon will provide BAB with a briefing on the engagement from the HEART team in the business community.
C. Nomination of Chair/Vice Chair for Calendar Year 2022 5 minutes
The Board will take a straw poll to nominate the Chair and Vice Chair for calendar year 2022. The process includes
expressions of interest from Board members, nominations for each position and then voting each for the positions.
5. City Council Announcements
A. Two New Council Members Sworn in 5 minutes
Ms. Rowland will update the BAB on the two new Council members from Districts 1 and 2.
