Purchasing Dept.
Peter Makowski will provide updates on the Main Street Pedestrian Mall Study, Open Streets, and the Outdoor
Dining Grant.

Councilmember Mano will introduce himself to the Board.
B. Fleet Block Rezone Discussion 20 minutes
Tammy Hunsaker, Deputy Director of Community and Neighborhoods, will provide an update on the Fleet Block
rezone.
C. Special Event Permitting Subcommittee 10 minutes
Chair Jeff Carlton will provide an update on the All Star Bazaar meeting and discuss forming a subcommittee to help
address improvements to the special events permitting process.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Community and Neighborhoods is heading the effort to create a new zone titled Form-Based
Urban Neighborhood 3 (FB-UN3)that would apply to the I0-acre city block located between 300
and 400 West and 800 and 900 South, also known as Fleet Block. The area was previously used by
Salt Lake City for a fleet maintenance factility that has since been relocated.
