Board Re-Appointment Recommendation: Housing Advisory
and Appeals Board
RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends the Council consider the
recommendation in the attached letter from the Mayor and appoint Daniel Gaffin a member of the
Housing Advisory and Appeals Board.

Dear Council Member Mano,
Listed below is my recommendation for the membership re-appointment for Housing Advisory
and Appeals Board.
Daniel Gaffin to be re-appointed for a three year term, starting from date of City Council advice
and consent and term ending on Friday, December 31, 2027.

It is my pleasure and honor to recommend Daniel Gaffin for a second term as a member of the Housing
Advisory and Appeals Board. I have worked with Daniel for the last 3 years during which he has been an
outstanding member of the board. I have been impressed by his professionalism and willingness to
work as a board to find the most equitable and safe options for existing housing and the constituents of
the community.
I wholeheartedly recommend Daniel for this position with the Housing Advisory and Appeals Board, and
I am confident he will be an invaluable addition.
