Sheri Sorensen to be re-appointed as a non-voting member for a year term starting from the date of City Council consent and sending on Tuesday, July 6, 2027. Ms. Sorensen was an active member of the Sister Cities program and the Board Chair prior to the board's pause during the pandemic. She feels strongly about equity and inclusion in our community and has loved lending her time and talents to support various organizations over the years, including: Utah Families Foundation, Olympic Committee, Winter Games, Spe cial Olympics, and the Sister Cities program to name a few. The Department believes Ms. Sorensen’s institutional knowledge would be an invaluable asset in strengthening and developing the Sister Cities program moving forward, and supports her re-appointment to the Sister Cities Advisory Board.
