Kristen Lavelett to be appointed for a four year term starting from date of City Council advice and consent and ending on Monday, December 25, 2028. Kristen has been a tireless advocate for the City and local businesses for more than a decade. She served at Local First Utah from 2012 to 2021 as Assistant Director and then Director before moving to the Downtown Alliance in 2022. Kristen has also served on the boards of Urban Food Connections of Utah, the Granary District Alliance, the Central Ninth Community Council, and Chair of the Special Olympics Game Organizing Committee for Fall & Winter Games at the University of Utah. Kristen is willing to give her time and talents to the Business Advisory Board and lend her voice to issues impacting the business community.
