RE:Sister Cities Advisory Board Appointment Recommendation
Dear Mayor Mendenhall,
The Department of Economic Development would like to recommend Stacee Adams as a new
member of the Sister Cities Advisory Board.Ms.Adams would fill a District 2 seat and would
have a voting position on the board.
Stacee Adams is a Communications and Public Engagement Leader.During her time working
at Salt Lake County, she assisted with Sister City events in Magna Township, and has
experience as an environmental planning consultant.Ms.Adams has demonstrated a strong
commitment to community service through her involvement on various boards, including
those focused on reproductive rights, environmental education, and public engagement. The
board has been in search of a new member with an environmental background.Combined
with Ms.Adams's past Sister City experience, she could bring a fresh perspective and
valuable insight to the program.
The Department supports Stacee Adams’s appointment to the Sister Cities Advisory Board
and believes her background and involvement would be an asset to strengthening not just
our Sister City relationships, but Salt Lake’s Sister Cities program as a whole.
Sincerely,
Katie Matheson
