recommendation in the attached letter from the Mayor and appoint Eugenie Jaffe a member of the

Listed below is my recommendation for the membership appointment for the Board
Appointment Recommendation: Arts Council Board.
Eugenie Jaffe to be appointed for a three year term starting from date of City Council advice and

The Nominating Committee of the Arts Council Board would like to forward for your approval and the
subsequent approval of the City Council, a new candidate for the Salt Lake City Arts Council Board of
Directors.
Eugenie Hero Jaffe is an esteemed arts and media professional with deep experience in broadcasting,
cultural programming, and community engagement. As an on-air host and producer at KRCL
90.9FM, she has played a pivotal role in promoting music, arts, and local culture while fostering
connections between artists and the community. Her extensive background in arts promotion, event
curation, and media relations makes her a dynamic advocate for the arts in Salt Lake City.
We believe Eugenie’s passion for the arts, combined with her expertise in marketing, event
production, and audience development, will be invaluable in advancing the mission of the Salt Lake
City Arts Council. Her dedication and creative leadership will make her an engaged and impactful
member of the Board. Her application and resume are attached for your consideration.
