Board Appointment Recommendation: Business Advisory Board
RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends the Council consider the
recommendation in the attached letter from the Mayor and appoint Barri Allaire member of the
Business Advisory Board.

Listed below is my recommendation for the membership appointment Business Advisory Board.
Barri Allaire to be appointed for a four year term starting from date of City Council advice and
consent and ending on Monday, December 27, 2027.

The Department of Economic Development would like to recommend Barri Allaire, Owner of Found N Kept
in Salt Lake City’s District 6 for a member position on the Business Advisory Board. Barri has been a
professional retailer for 25 years and a passionate advocate, organizer, and leader. She has been working
with Business Development to create a people-first shopping district. Barri’s goal is to further enhance and
grow neighborhood business and foster a thriving community.
She is willing to give her time and talents to the Business Advisory Board and lend her voice to issues
impacting the business community.
We strongly support Barri ’s application to the Business Advisory Board. Please find enclosed her
