The Committee discussed how the different scoring categories should be weighed to determine the final ranking of applications. The group examined the relative weight each scoring category received last year and made several changes, including changing the relative weight of the Mission, Leadership, Partnerships, and Timeline categories from a 2 to a 1, so a score received in those categories will be counted once in an applicants'total score, and changing the relative weight of the Success category from a 1 to a 2, so a score received in that category will be counted twice in the total score. The relative weight of all other scoring categories remained the same, with the Population Served, Project Proposal, Project Impact, and Overall Recommendation to Fund categories remaining at a relative weight of 3 to be counted three times in the total score, and the Evaluation, Sustainability, and Budget categories remaining at a relative weight of 1.
