The board also helps direct City economic policy, promote small business growth, support local entrepreneurship, and assist the City in remaining responsive to the business community. Business Advisory Board meetings are held in a hybrid meeting format. Board Members and staff may participate through an online format, and members of the public may join in person at the City & County Building: 451 South State Street, Room 335, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. Roll Call 2. Approval of the minutes a. Review and Approval of September 10, 2025, BAB Minutes BAB members will review the September 10, 2025, meeting minutes and consider for approval. 3. Briefing by SLCPD 5 minutes Commander Bill Manzanares or Lieutenant Jeffrey North from the Salt Lake City Police Department will provide an update to and answer questions from the Board 4. Briefings by the Staff 5 minutes a. Report from the Deputy Director. Colin Gibbs, Business Development Director, will provide updates on the work of the Department of Economic Development to the Board. 5. Business Items a. Ballpark Next Community Design Plan 20 minutes Makena Hawley, Project Manager with the Community Reinvestment Agency, will present the Ballpark Next Community Design Plan to the Board. b. BAB Sub Committee Review 20 minutes Vice-Chair, Sheridan Mordue will engage the Board on the topic of Sub Committees. 6. City Council Announcements – Austin Kimmel 10 minutes a.
