Citizens’ Compensation Advisory Committee (CCAC)
MEETING AGENDA
A meeting of the CCAC will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025
from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
This meeting will be hosted at the Committee’s anchor location situated in the
SLC Human Resources Department – Main Office,
349 South 200 East – 5th Floor (Aspen Conference Room),
Salt Lake City, UT 84111
This meeting is live and open to the public. Committee members may, however,
participate electronically in accordance with state statute and city ordinance.
1. Meeting Open & Welcome, establish quorum – Brandon Dew, Committee Chair
2. New member nomination and appointment by the Committee – Brandon Dew,
Committee Chair
3. Review & adopt October 1, 2024 meeting minutes
4. Utah Open Meetings Act annual training – Jonathan Pappasideris, Senior City
Attorney
5. Public comment: The chair of the committee invites interested individuals and group
representatives to speak during this section of the meeting. Remarks, comments or questions will be
limited to a maximum of three minutes. Submission of written comments for this part of the meeting is
acceptable.
6. Review of 2024-25 labor market, economic, and related salary budget forecast
reports and information – David Salazar, Compensation Manager
7. Review of preliminary results of 2024-25 local area benchmark market pay
analysis – Michael Jenson, Senior Compensation Analyst
8. Committee discussion of topics and/or recommendations to be included in the
Committee’s 2025 annual report, including but not limited to:
a. Local area benchmark market data & analysis
b. 2024-25 salary budget forecast(s)
c. Significant economic, employment and/or labor statistical information
d. Any other data, report, or information deemed relevant by the Committee
