The board also helps direct City economic policy, promote small business growth, support local entrepreneurship, and assist the City in remaining responsive to the business community. Roll Call 2. Approval of the minutes a. Review and Approval of March 11, 2026, BAB Minutes BAB members will review March 11, 2026, meeting minutes and consider for approval. 3. Briefing by SLCPD 5 minutes The Salt Lake City Police Department will provide an update to the Board. 4. Briefings by the Staff 5 minutes a. Report from the Department of Economic Development. Economic Development staff will provide updates on the work of the Department of Economic Development to the Board. 5. Business Items a. 2026 Legislative Session Review 20 minutes Michelle Hoon, Legislative Affairs Deputy Director, will give an overview of 2026 Utah Legislative Session and discuss how it may impact the City with the Board. b. Parking 101 Presentation 20 minutes Allison Dupler, Urban Services Director, will provide the Board with an overview of City Parking 6. City Council Announcements – Austin Kimmel 15 minutes a. Temporary Street Closure for 2027 Temple Reopening Celebration b. Metro Water Board Vacancy c. Extending Public Transportation in Sugar House d.
