Housed in the Department of Economic Development, the Business Advisory Board seeks to encourage economic
development and target industry relocation within City boundaries. The board also helps direct City economic policy,
promote small business growth, support local entrepreneurship, and assist the City in remaining responsive to the business
community.

2. Approval of the minutes
a. Review and Approval of February 11, 2026, BAB Minutes
BAB members will review February 11, 2026, meeting minutes and consider for approval.
3. Briefing by SLCPD 5 minutes
The Salt Lake City Police Department will provide an update to the Board.
4. Briefings by the Staff 5 minutes
a. Report from the Department of Economic Development.
Economic Development staff will provide updates on the work of the Department
of Economic Development to the Board.
5. Business Items
a. Neighborworks’ Programs & Impact 20 minutes
Resource and Development Manager Luis Pineda and Economic Development Manager
Pablo Correa will give an overview of Neighborworks’ programs to the Board
6. City Council Announcements – Austin Kimmel 10 minutes
a. The Grove
b. Temporary Street Closure for Temple Square 2027 Reopening
c. Sugar House Hotel Rezone & Master Plan Amendment
d. Budget 101 Workshop
7. BAB Member Announcements 5 minutes
a. BAB member announcements.
8. Board Member Conduct Discussion 15 minutes
a. The Board Chair and Board Vice Chair will engage the Board in a discussion about
Board member conduct.
b. The Board will discuss proposed Code of Conduct.
c. Potential Board action to vote on proposed code of conduct and action to be taken.
9. Tentative Closed Meeting 10 minutes
a. The Board will consider a motion to enter into a closed meeting. A closed meeting may
be held for specific purposes as described under Utah Code Section 52-4-205
10. Board Action 5 minutes
a. Consideration of Board member service and activity.
