Note: Speakers cannot transfer their time to another person. Submission Deadlines: • Comments must be received by 12:00 PM on the Wednesday the week before the meeting to be included in the Staff Report. • Comments received between 12:01 PM on the Wednesday the week before the meeting and 12:00 PM on the day of the meeting will be forwarded to the Commission (but not included in the Staff Report). Note: Comments and materials received after the deadlines may not be reviewed prior to the meeting but will be added to the official record. Emails received will not be read aloud during the meeting. During this time, the Commission may also receive training related to their roles and city planning topics. M E E T I N G M I N U T E S 1. Approval of the Minutes for May 7, 2026 T I M E E X T E N S I O N 2. Extension Request for Relocation of 632 S 700 E to 635 E 700 S (Not a Public Hearing) – Trolley Square Ventures, LLC has submitted a letter requesting a one-year extension for the relocation of the contributing building at 632 S 700 E, approved by the Historic Landmark Commission on June 4, 2025 and Certificate of Appropriateness was issued. The subject property is within Council District 4. Central Community Plan – Planning staff will provide a briefing on the process of updating the Central Community Plan and the existing conditions for the community. The Central Community Plan establishes land use and growth-related policies for the area and will be used to help guide zoning, transportation, housing, and other growth-related decisions. The plan area encompasses five neighborhood-planning areas: Central City, East Central North, East Central South, Liberty, and Ballpark. Policies & Procedures Update - The Historic Landmark Commission will be briefed on a voluntary work session process for New Construction petitions. The Commission will review a draft Conceptual New Construction Work Session procedure. As currently drafted, the Conceptual New Construction Work Session will be added to the Commission's adopted Policies & Procedures as an addendum. The addendum includes examples of submittal requirements and clear expectations of the applicant, commission and staff. Staff Reports will be posted the Friday prior to the meeting and minutes will be posted two days after they are approved, which usually occurs at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Historic Landmark Commission. The next regular meeting of the Commission is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2026, unless a special meeting is scheduled prior to that date. Anyone who is an “adversely affected party” as defined by Utah Code Section 10-20-102, may appeal a decision of the Historic Landmark Commission by filing a written appeal with the Appeals Hearing Officer within ten (10) calendar days following the date on which a record of decision is issued. The applicant may object to the decision of the Historic Landmark Commission by filing a written appeal with the Appeals Hearing Officer within thirty (30) calendar days following the date on which a record of decision is issued.
