The Salt Lake City Airport Advisory Board convened for a bus tour of the Salt Lake City
International Airport’s Terminal Redevelopment Program site and the Explosive Detection
System (EDS). The tour began at 8:00 a.m. and included the following points of interest or
discussion:
• Quick Turn-Around Facility (QTA) shear walls and columns, fuel island piping, utilities
piping and duct bank, ramp construction, loop roadway, elevated deck, and
administration area slabs. The overview of the TRP construction site, renderings of the
perspective future site, roadway changes, rental
• Explosive Detection System (EDS)
The tour bus returned to the point of embarkation at 9:15 a.m. and the Board meeting was
adjourned.

The next Board meeting will be held the 21 September 2016.
