AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE EAST-WEST PORTION OF PIONEER
ROAD EXTENDING WEST OF PIONEER ROAD AT 2300 WEST TO THE WEST
LINE OF THE UTAH POWER & LIGHT COMPANY RIGHT-OF-WAY, A
PUBLIC STREET IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
finds, after public hearing, that the City' s interest in the
public street described below is not necessary for use by
the public as a street and that closure of the street will
not relinquish or terminate the City' s interest in the
underlying property without separate documents of transfer.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of
Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the east-west portion of Pioneer Road
extending west from Pioneer Road at 2300 West to the west
line of the Utah Power & Light Company right-of-way, which
is the subject of petition No. 400-467-86, and which is more

closed and declared no longer to be needed or available for
use as a public street; and that title to the City ' s
