UJ —i �n i • P 84-4 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE TIo. 12 of 1984 (Alley Vacation ) AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PUBLIC ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN THE JORDAN PLACE SUBDIVISION, SAID ALLEY BEING 16 FEET WIDE AND RUNNING WEST FOR APPROXIMATELY - 558. 8 FEET FROM NAVAJO STREET BETWEEN PACIFIC AVENUE AND 5TH SOUTH STREET, SALT LAKE CITY. WHEREAS, The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, finds after a public hearing, that the City' s interest in the alley described below which was platted within the Jordan Place Subdivision is no longer necessary for use as a public way and that the vacation of said alley described below will not be adverse to the interests of the general public. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah : SECTION 1 . ALLEY VACATION. An alley located within the Jordan Place Subdivision, running west for approximately 558. 8 feet from Navajo Street between Pacific Avenue and 5th South Street, which is the subject of Petition No . 400-49 of 1983 a� - t� submitted by Dennis Peterson, et al . , and more particularly Cn Cl� described below be, and the same hereby is VACATED and declared W no longer to be needed or available for use as a public alley or ,. public way: x Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1 , Block . 9, Jordan Place Subdivision, located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, T. 1 S. , R. 1 W. , Salt Lake Base and Meridian, and running thence West 558. 8 feet more or less to the Northwest corner of Lot 22 ; thence North 16. 0 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 23 ; thence East 558.8 feet more or less to the Southeast corner of Lot 44 ; thence South 16 feet to the point of beginning .
