AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PUBLIC ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN THE
JACKSON SQUARE SUBDIVISION, SAID ALLEY PEING 13 FEET WIDE AND
RUNNING SOUTH 130 FEET FROM KELSEY AVENUE AT APPROXIMATELY 278
EAST , SALT LAKE CITY.
WHEREAS, The City Council of Salt Lake City , Utah, finds
after a public hearing, that the City's interest in the alley
described below which was platted within the Jackson Square
Subdivision is no longer necessary for use as a public way and
that the vacation of said alley described below will not be
adverse to the interests of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . ALLEY VACATION. An alley located within the

Jackson Square Subdivision, running south 130 feet from Kelsey
Avenue at approximately 278 East, which is the subject of
Petition No . 400-48 of 1983 submitted by Mary Lee Pierce, et al ,

and more particularly described below be, and the same hereby is
VACATED and declared no longer to be needed or available for use
as a public alley or public way: Q,

Beginning at the north east corner of Lot 66 ,
Jackson Square, a subdivision of Block 21 Five
Acre Plat "A" B.F .S. and running thence N.
89056140" E. 13 .0 feet to the northwest corner of
Lot 38; thence S. 0001 '55" W. 130 .0 feet to a
point on the west property line of Lot 36; thence
S. 89056140" W. 18 . 0 feet to the south boundary
line of Lot 66; thence N. 45°04 '33" E. 7.07 feet;
thence N. 0001 ' 55" E. 125. 0 feet along the east
\ property line of Lot 66 to the point of beginning .
RESERVATIONS. Said vacation is expressly made SUBJECT TO
all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities
of any and every description now located on, in, under or over
the confines of the above-described property; and ALSO SUBJECT TO
the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of obtaining ,
altering, replacing, removing, repairing or rerouting said
utilities and all of them.
