015 of 1986 - Alley Vacation Portions of Harris Avenue and Bayfield Avenue between Prospect Street and Utah Street 0 86-1 1 ' P 86-18 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 15 of 1986 (Vacating portions of Harris Avenue and Bayfield Avenue between Prospect Street and Utah Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, pursuant to Petition No. 400-398 AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF HARRIS AVENUE AND BAYFIELD AVENUE BETWEEN PROSPECT STREET AND UTAH STREET, SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-398. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Harris Avenue and Bayfield Avenue between Prospect Street and Utah Street, in Salt Lake City, Utah, be, and the same hereby is VACATED and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way. SECTION 2. Said streets are more particularly described as follows: Bayfield Avenue: Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 11, Block 6, Prospect Park, a subdivision of the SW1/4 NE1/4 Section 15, T1S, R1W, SLB&M, and running thence East 26.0 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 12; thence South 66.0 (` feet to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 11, said Prospect Park Subdivision, thence West 27.0 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 2; thence N 0152105" E 66.007 feet to the point of beginninq. Harris Avenue: Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 11, Block 3, Prospect Park, a subdivision of the SW1/4 NE1/4 Section 15, T1S, R1W, SLB&M, and running thence East 19.0 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 12; thence South 66.0 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 6, said VV Prospect Park Subdivision; thence West 21.0 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 2; thence N 1°44'10" E 66.03 feet to the point of beginning. RESERVATIONS. Said vacation is expressly made: SUBJECT TO all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now located on, in under or over the confines of the above described real property. ALSO SUBJECT TO the rights of entry thereon for the purposes of obtaining, maintaining, altering, replacing, repairing, remov- ing or rerouting said utilities and all of them, including the City's water and sewer facilities. Said vacation is subject to any existing rights of way or easements of private third parties. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect upon publication.
