No. 16 of 1994
(Amending the property description
of the Subdivision vacation of
Ordinance No. 3 of 1994)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PROPERTY DESCRIPTION OF THE
SUBDIVISION VACATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 3 OF 1994.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3 of 1994 was passed, vacating portions
of certain subdivisions; and
WHEREAS, the property description of the vacated subdivisions
contained certain errors; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3 of 1994 was otherwise proper and all
other notices regarding Ordinance No. 3 of 1994 were proper.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Exhibit "A" to Ordinance No. 3 of 1994 is
hereby declared to be null and void. The vacated portions of the
various subdivisions which were the subject of Ordinance No. 3 of
1994, as corrected, are hereby described as follows:
City Park Subdivision Blocks 4 and 5
Block 4
Vacating the alley and lots 1, 4 through 16, 21 through 31 and the
following described portions of lots 17 through 20: commencing at
a point Northeast corner of lot 20, thence south 106 feet, thence
west 70.5 feet, thence North 106 feet, thence East 70.5 feet to the
point of beginning.
Block 5
Vacating lots 1 through 15 and the south 20.0 feet of lot 16
together with the vacated portion of Bothwell street (excluding the
north 156 feet)
Jordan Place Subdivision Block 13, 19, 20 and 21
Block 13
Vacating the alley and all lots, together with Gillespie Street.
Block 19
Vacating the alley and all of Block 19.
Block 20
Vacating all of Block 20, and the vacated portion of 600 South
Street abutting block 20 and the eastern one-half of Block 21.
Block 21
Vacating lots 1 and lots 18 through 32, together with the vacated
1100 West street abutting the block to the east, and together with
the vacated north one-half of Arapahoe Avenue abutting the block on
the south.
Butte Subdivision Blocks 2 and 3
Block 2
Vacating lots 32 through 38.
Block 3
Vacating all of Block 3, together with the vacated portion of
Goshen Street abutting the north portion of the block to the east.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon the date of its first publication and shall be
recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
