SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 21 of 2013
(Amending the Sugar house Community Master Plan
pertaining to property located at approximately 2018 East 2100 South Street)
An ordinance amending the Future Land Use Map of the Sugar House Community
Master Plan pertaining to property located at approximately 2018 East 2100 South Street
pursuant to Petition No. PLNPCM2012-00546.
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Planning Commission held a public hearing on
November 14, 2012 on an application submitted by Salt Lake City Council member Soren
Simonsen ("Applicant") to amend the Sugar House Community Master Plan pertaining to
property located at approximately 2018 East 2100 South Street ("Property") to amend the Future
Land Use Map of that master plan concerning said Property from Institutional & Public Lands to
Very Low Density Residential pursuant to Petition No. PLNPCM2012-00546; and
WHEREAS, at its November 14, 2012 meeting, the planning commission voted in favor
of forwarding a positive recommendation to the Salt Lake City Council on said application; and
WHEREAS, after a public hearing on this matter the city council has determined that
adopting this ordinance is in the city's best interests.
NOW, THF,REFORF,, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. Amending the Central Community Master Plan. That the Future Land Use
Map of the Sugar House Community Master Plan shall be and hereby is amended to change the
designated future land use of Property located at approximately 2018 East 2100 South Street
(Tax ID No. 16-22-105-001), and which Property is more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, from Institutional & Public Lands to Very Low Density Residential.
SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first
publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 7th day of May
2013.

Commencing 70.5 feet south and West 23 Rods west from the Southeast Corner Block of the 7.5
Acre Plat C Big Field Survey, and then West 156.75 Feet, then South165.05 Feet, then East
156.75 Feet, then North 165.05 Feet to the Point of Beginning in the Northwest Quadrant of the
Northwest Quadrant of Section 22 in Township 1 South, Range l East of the Salt Lake Meridian.
