AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE
DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by
Ensign Downs, Inc., No. 400-873-91, the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah, has held public hearings before its own body and
before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration
citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and
the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these
deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change
of zoning for the property located on the west side of East
Capitol Boulevard at approximately 755 North is appropriate for
the development of the community in that area;
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of
Title 21.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section
21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of
boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is AMENDED

Sec. 21.14.020. Boundaries of Districts - Use District Map
Adopted. That the following -described parcel of real property in
Salt Lake City, Utah, presently zoned Residential R-2A is hereby
rezoned Residential R-1 and the Use District Map is amended
accordingly:
Beginning at a point that is South 00°16'15" East
4867.477 feet and South 89°43'45" West 1260.823 feet
from the North quarter corner of said Section 30; said
point being on the West right-of-way line of East
Capitol Blvd., said point also being the Northeast
corner of Ensign Downs Plat G, recorded in the office
of Salt Lake County Recorder as Entry No. 3677890, Book
82-5, Page 43, thence South 89°59'13" West 125.000
feet; thence North 00°42'19" West 457.995 feet; to the
boundary of Ensign Downs Plat A, recorded in the office
