(Amending the Baltimore Subdivision
Pursuant to Petition No. 400-94-1)
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF THE BALTIMORE
SUBDIVISION, AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 10-9-808, UTAH CODE
ANNOTATED, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-94-1.
WHEREAS, Petition No. 400-94-1 was filed with the City by
Salt Lake City, requesting the City to allow the amendment of the
Baltimore Subdivision to allow the combination of lots and a
vacated alley; and
WHEREAS, one hundred percent of the owners of the property
within and adjacent to the subdivision have not consented to the
amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing after
giving the required notices and has reviewed the preliminary plat
amendment which has been previously preliminarily approved by the
Planning Commission on February 17, 1994; and
WHEREAS, good cause exists for the amendment of the plat and
the City Council finds neither the public nor any person will be
materially injured by the proposed amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. The City hereby approves the proposed amendment
to the Baltimore Subdivision as conditionally approved by

the Planning Commission on February 17, 1994. A copy of the
amended plat shall be retained by the City Recorder as Exhibit A
to this Ordinance. The Planning Director is authorized to grant
final plat approval subject to compliance with applicable City
ordinances and the conditions imposed by the Planning Commission.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon the date of its being first published and
recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder. The City Recorder
is instructed to not record or publish this ordinance until the
Planning Division certifies that the amended plat is approved and
recordable.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
3rd day of May , 1994.
