(Rezoning property located at 2067 South Lakeline Drive
from Foothill Preservation "P-1" to Residential "R-1"
pursuant to Petition No. 400-92-42
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE
CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE
DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-92-42.
WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by
R. Kirk Blosch, No. 400-92-42, the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah has held public hearings before its own body and
before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration
citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and
the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these
deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change
of zoning for the property located at 2067 South Lakeline Drive
is appropriate for the development of the community in that area;
and
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby
adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of
Title 21.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section
21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of

to read as follows:
Sec. 21.14.020. Boundaries of Districts --Use District Map
Adopted.
That the following -described parcel of real property in Salt
Lake City, Utah presently zoned Preservation "P-1" is hereby

Beginning at the South Quarter Corner of Section
Township 1 South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base
Meridian, and running thence N 89°41'10" W along
Section Line 3.960 feet to the Easterly boundary line of
Carrigan Cove, a Planned Unit Development Subdivision;
thence along said subdivision boundary the following
three courses: N 07°20'40" W 29.44 feet to the point of
beginning of a 920.990 foot radius curve to the left
(Bearing to center is S 82°39'20" W) ; thence along the
arc of said curve 155.206 feet (Delta = 09°39'29");
thence N 17°00' 00" W 72.763 feet; thence S 89°41'10" E
179.674 feet; thence S 13°01'27" E 256.930 feet to the
Section Line; thence N 89°41' 10" W along the Section Line
175.891 feet to the point of beginning. Contains 43756
square feet = 1.00 acres.

SECTION 2. CONDITION. This ordinance shall not become
effective until the Mayor has certified that a subdivision plat
showing the two lots to be rezoned and the approximately eleven
acres to be dedicated and deeded to the City has been approved.
The plat shall also include a restriction on the development of
the two rezoned lots to require compliance with the site
sensitive aesthetic requirements of the Foothill Preservation
"P-1" District as recommended by the Planning Commission.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become
effective on the date of its first publication and shall be
recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder. The City Recorder

is instructed to not publish or record this ordinance until the
Mayor has certified that the condition specified in Section 2
above have been met. In the event that the condition has not
been met within one year from the date of this ordinance the
Mayor may extend the time for performance by an additional year.
If the condition has not been met within the time permitted by
this ordinance the City Recorder is instructed to not record or
publish the ordinance, which shall become null, void and of no
effect.
