040 of 1991 - Rezoning property located at 1149 through 1179 West Lafayette Drive and amending the Northwest Commu0 91-1 P 91-69 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 40 of 1991 (Rezoning property located at 1149 through 1179 West Lafayette Drive and amending the Northwest Community Master Plan Update pursuant to Petition No. 400-901-91) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.14.020 OF THE SALT LAKE CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-901-91. WHEREAS, in response to the rezoning petition initiated by the Planning Commission, No. 400-901-91, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed change of zoning for the property located at 1149 through 1179 West Lafayette Drive is appropriate for the development of the community in that area; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended and the City Council agrees that the Northwest Community Master Plan Update should simultaneously be amended to conform to this proposed rezoning; THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby adopts the following amendments to the Use District provisions of Title 21. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Use District Map, as adopted by Section 21.14.020 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED to read as follows: Sec. 21.14.020. Boundaries of Districts --Use District Map Adopted. That the following -described parcel of real property in Salt Lake City, Utah presently zoned Business "B-3" is hereby rezoned Residential "R-2" and the Use District Map is amended accordingly: See Exhibit "A" attached and incorporated by reference. SECTION 2. MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT. The Northwest Community Master Plan Update shall be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED to conform to the rezoning adopted in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication. Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 4 day of June , 1991.
