No. 43 of 1984
(Rezoning property located at 984 Donner Way)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51-12-2 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCE OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, RELATING TO ZONING AND
FIXING BOUNDARIES OF USE DISTRICTS.
The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, has held a public
hearing to consider Petition 400-183 of 1984 submitted by Donald
M. White, requesting that certain property located at 984 Donner
Way be rezoned from Residential "R-5" to Residential "R-1"
classification. The Council has heard testimony of citizens and
reviewed planning and demographic data of the area, and finds
that the proposed rezoning is appropriate in order to encourage
development and growth compatible with the best interests of the
neighborhood and the City as a whole.
Therefore be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. The Use District Map as adopted by Section 51-
12-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah 1965, as
amended, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Use Districts,
be, and the same hereby is amended as follows :
Sec. 51-12-2. Boundaries of Use District. The followina
described parcel of residentially zoned land in Salt Lake City,
Utah located at 984 Donner Way, currently zoned Residential "R-5"
is hereby rezoned to a Residential "R-l" classification and the
Use District Map is amended and changed accordingly:
Lot 1 Plat "K" , Oak Hills Subdivision.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30 )
days after the date of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 10th day of July , 1984.
