044 of 2011 - Revising & amending the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule 0 11-1 .,et: 0 11-9 SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 44 of 2011 (Revising and amending the Salt Lalce City Consolidated Fee Schedule) AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISED AND AMENDED SALT LAKE CITY CONSOLIDATED FEE SCHEDULE. WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011 the City Council adopted Ordinances 2011-23, 2011-24 and 2011-25 (collectively, the"Ordinances")to authorize and create the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule ("Consolidated Fee Schedule"); and WHEREAS, the Ordinances became effective on May 23,2011; and WHEREAS, the purpose of the Ordinances was to relocate City fee information from numerous places in the Salt Lake City Code into one document, the Consolidated Fee Schedule, and not to change or eliminate any existing and legally authorized fee; and WHEREAS, the Consolidated Fee Schedule must be amended to reflect changes to fees included in the City's adopted FY 2011-2012 budget; and WHEREAS, a result of user feedback, it is also proposed that the Consolidated Fee Schedule be revised to make it more user-friendly; and WHEREAS,the City Council finds (i) the fees set forth in the Consolidated Fee Schedule are necessary, reasonable, and equitable in relation to regulatory and service costs incurred by the City; and (ii) adoption of this ordinance reasonably furthers the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Salt Lake City. NOW, THEREFORE,be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. The Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule dated June 14, 2011 shall be, and hereby is,adopted as set forth in the attached Exhibit"A" and shall supersede the previously adopted version thereof SECTION 2. Any City fee in effect on May 16, 2011 but inadvertently not included in the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule adopted on May 17, 2011 shall be deemed to have continued without interruption. SECTION 3. The fees set forth in the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall prevail over any conflicting fee established by a previously adopted ordinance or resolution. SECTION 4.
