SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 46 of 1993
(Recreation Equipment, Aviary, and Tennis Fees)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 15.16.020, 15.16.070 AND
15.16.090, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, RELATING TO RECREATION EQUIPMENT
RENTAL, TRACY AVIARY, AND TENNIS FEES RESPECTIVELY.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 15.16.020, SALT LAKE CITY CODE,
relating to picnic facility reservation fees be, and the same
hereby is, amended to read as follows:
15.16.020 Picnic facility reservation fees.
Any person, organization or group desiring to reserve picnic
facilities shall pay a fee for the use of such facilities
according to the following schedule:

Any person, organization or group which desires to rent a
city -owned recreation equipment kit in connection with the
reserving of picnic facilities shall pay a fee of $5.00 per
reservation for the rental of such kit.
SECTION 2. That Section 15.16.070, SALT LAKE CITY CODE,
relating to Tracy Aviary fees be, and the same hereby is, amended
to read as follows:
15.16.070 Tracy Aviary fees.
A. Admission fees to the Tracy Aviary shall be required
every day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day on
which day the aviary shall be closed.
B. The individual admission fee schedule shall be as
follows:
Age Price
Under 6 years of age Free
6 to 12 years $1.00
13 to 64 years 2.00
65 years and over 1.00
Admission fees shall be waived for individuals or families
paying yearly membership fees to the Friends of Tracy Aviary,
Inc.
C. Group Rates. Educational, religious or other organized
clubs or groups visiting the Aviary shall pay the following fees
as a group:

Under 6 years of age Free
6 to 12 $ .50
13 to 64 years 1.00
65 years and over .50
D. Outreach Programs. Aviary stall may conduct programs
including demonstrations, lectures, field trips or other similar
activities as requested at schools, clubs, religious
organizations or other similar organizations and shall charge a
fee for such programs, not to exceed $500.00, to be determined by
the director of recreation based on the nature, complexity and
expense of each such program.

SECTION 3. That Section 15.16.090, SALT LAKE CITY CODE,
relating to parks and recreation program fees be, and the same
hereby is, amended to read as follows:
15.16.090 Parks and recreation program fees.
